Jennifer Grey had a long career that ran for almost 30 year. Grey's professional career spans nearly 30 years. Her career began with highly acclaimed performances as a supporting actor in films like The Cotton Club, Red Dawn and The Cotton Club. Grey then became an international star after she portrayed the jealous Jeannie of Ferris Bueller's Day Off, the classic John Hughes comedy opposite Matthew Broderick. Grey's celebrated performance in Dirty Dancing as Frances Houseman also known as Baby Houseman alongside Patrick Swayze earned her the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress. Apart from The Westside Waltz starring Shirley MacLaine with Liza Minnelli & Kathy Bates and HBO's Fallen Angels - A Dime a Dance Cable Ace Nomination for Best Actress, she also starred on Murder in Mississippi, playing Rita Shwerner and The Road to Christmas. She had a role as Rita Shwerner in David Milch's HBO drama John From Cincinnati.
